Calzone’s sounded like an excellent meal prep idea and so, I pulled out my mixing bowls, some precooked ground beef, all the ingredients for the dough and extras for the filling and got busy.
Forming Crust: I use parchment paper and a plate to make beautiful circles. You can make these whatever size you like. I go ahead and start dividing my dough once it’s ready to insure I get 12 mini circles. Form each divided piece into a ball and place it on an 8″ square piece of parchment. Using another 8″ square piece, lay it on top of your dough ball and then evenly press the plate down until it is about 1/4″ thick.
